McKiney Park

McKiney Park
Wolfboro, New Hampshire

by Frigid Frog

Description: Public park, limited parking and facilities (picnic tables available).  Easy walk to water. Easy entry.  Bottom falls off gently to about fifty feet. Big rock piles are home to fish from two inches to two feet.  Good visibility (20 - 25 feet) until you get too close to the bottom. Lots of silt.

Directions:

Wolfboro is on the east side of the lake.  From route 28 south of the center of town, turn west on Clark Road (across from Huggins Hospital).  Follow Clark Road until it turns 90 degrees left. McKiney Park is straight ahead. Walk over the hill and there are stone steps to the water.
